Wore retired jeans of 3 years yesterday!!!

crispy cereal

potato puree with cooked veggies

porc stir fry

Lemon poppy seed bar

There's nothing like fist pumping happiness when you get on the scale and see a number you haven't seen in a couple of years! The average body gains 7 lbs a year. So my squale isn't the most trust worthy for the actual numbers it has a balance but I decided to try on a pair of dressy jeans that I have put in a side closet for maybe one day. I have only kept 2 pairs of pants of my skinnier days and it's because I didn't wear them very much and they are in mint condition. SO I did a little dance! I also just finished a great book called : EAT BY CHOICE, NOT BY HABIT. THis book gives you practical skills for creating a healthy relationship with your body and food. http://www.eatbychoice.net/
She combines dietairy wisdom with the consciousness of Nonviolent communication (NVC)
This book gives practical strategies to break out of unhealthy eating cycles and becoming aware of our real needs in the moment. I recommend this book and you can find it at the library!
I find it amazingly useful learning about (NVC) even with speaking to myself (self talk) and with my husband! Compassion is the KEY!

On to the food :D

Breakfast was crispy cereal and cinnamon my morning has become a little ritual!

Lunch was the potato puree with cooked veggies I was so old yesterday I only wanted warm food! I sauteed mushrooms and celery and mixed it with the potato. I put enough water to make a soup!

SUper I made a porn loin stir fry with green onion, garlic, zucchini, savoy cabbage and sprouts and used a little soya sauce for flavouring. SUper delicious and nutritious

FOr my snack I had a lemon poppy seed bar with is so delicious with a lemon zinger tea!

Have a great day

Day 34 Ask yourself some questions!

crispy cereal my morning staple!

soup and veggies

salad

David's tea: fired up fennel!

salt and vinegar chips!

Day 34 was a great day! I was able to spend the day teaching my first official Reiki Level 1 Course.
Reiki is a japanese technique of healing. It is a wonderful technique that helps heal mind body and soul this opportunity was a true gift and it was a pleasure charing this beautiful method to help others!

During this journey of weight loss I find it very important to take care of myself even if it's just listening to what my body is saying. I am hungry? No I am bored or I'm tired. My body is rarely hungry when I would eat all the time! I would not question what my body was feeling I would use food the medicate whatever I was feeling. Bread is not the answer LOL! So this is an opportunity of discovering ask yourself: what do I really want? Is it reading a good book, finding peace and quiet? Dancing? Enjoying time with close friends? Journaling is a wonderful source of information about discovering yourself and about your needs. Get yourself a beautiful book that you love so you can express yourself by writing or drawing even both! My husband has a wonderful book called Art journals and creative healing!

On to the food

Breakfast was the crispy cereal with a touch of cinnamon. I love this as my breakfast I would probably have it for lunch too! It's crunchy and with the cinnamon it's a little sweet!

Lunch was the chicken soup which is rich and creamy perfect for a cold winter day with a side of veggies!

Super I had a large salad as my appetizer and a peace of pork and cooked radishes. I didn't fuss to mush with the spices on this because I was tired so the meal was just ok.

My snack was the vinegar and sea salt chips now I was never a S&V girl. Growing up I was a Doritoes kind of girl. I haven't eaten those for the last 5 years unless I am at a sub place and I am really hungry at the time. (HOnestly they don't taste as good without the trans fats LOL, and my taste buds have changed eating whole foods!) So never in my wildest dreams would I have though that my favourite chips would be the salt and vinegar but every week I pick one bag as my treat for the week.

I was cold in the evening so I made a David's Tea called fired up fennel It is a ayurvedic tea for kapha. It's hot and delicious and some people find it smells like pizza but I think they are reminded of italian sausages because the put fennel in their meat. It has hot peppers and woo it gives you some kick.

My goal is to have a few restricted food a week and more pudding for my snack. Now that I've taste the Vanilla pudding........I have a favourite makes my eyes roll and toes curl it's so delicious. You will be seeing more of that on this blog :D

Take care of yourself and have a great monday!

DAy 33 VANILLA PUDDING!!!!!!!

chocolate muffin

chicken soup!

CHocolate chip Cookie

Day 34! I realized this morning that I made a boo boo with the muffin in the morning and cookie at night I was planning to have the vanilla pudding for my snack but there was a power outage at lunch time and I had brought soup luckily I had my vanilla pudding with me so I ate that and then totally forgot when snack time came around that I should have a drink or pudding. I went out the night before and had a blast but I was so hungry the next day. I've been having lots of water and I am still on the detox and I think I might have to adjust the doses every couple of days.

Breakfast was the delicious chocolate muffin made with the chocolate pancake mix

Lunch was a salad with celery mushroom and red onion. THe Vanilla pudding was AMAZING! It had the flavour of vanilla cake batter and there's a wire in the shaker to mix this it totally reminded me of when your mom gave you the metal mixer to eat!!!!! Great flavour probably my favourite pudding along with the caramel.

SUper I made a chicken soup. I will call it the ideal protein chicken soup. It had Kale, mushrooms and celery with sauteed chicken thighs and chicken stock. Easy and delicious!

My snack was the chocolate chip cookie it's cake like texture filling and delicious!

Day 32 Keeping it skinny!

herb and cheese omelette

NEW Herb POTATOE puree and salad

chocolate puff ( night time snack)

Egg protein salad!
It's a full moon next week and I was looking into weight loss being affected by it but there's no research on this that I could find. Because we are made out of water by 90 Percent and the moon shifts water on our planet( twice a day) but is stronger during the full moon. I was curious if it could affect the scale so we will see if my theory is true next week :) So Drink lots of water!!!!

Breakfast was the herb and cheese omelette! It was light and fluffy and keeps me full until 12:30!!!

Lunch was the new Herb Potato Puree. I was trying to make it a soup I am not sure if I was successful it smells amazing taste a little thick but the warm creaminess was like soul food. It almost has the same texture as the oatmeal. My impression is that thickness is the protein content. You add boiling water and mix! THIS FOOD IS UNRESTRICTED!!! SO you could have it for breakfast lunch and snack pretty awesome!

Super I had boiled eggs as my protein and a large salad with red onion, mushrooms and celery and 2 dill garlic pickles! I made a soy sauce dressing.

soy sauce dressing
1/2 cup of olive oil
1/4 cup of soya sauce
1 Crushed garlic clove
green onion

You can dress your salad and let marinate for 20 min for more flavour. I also like this dressing on sprouts and kale with celery!

I let my husband choose my snack and totally forgot to make something new so I will have that today!
I had the chocolate soy puffs they are so good and I love eating them one at a time and savouring each one but the peanut butter puffs I think are my favourite. I used to have a lot of peanuts...every day!

Have a great week-end

Day 31 Ideal protein makes your skin radiant!

cripy cereal

Chocolate drink

Day 31!
I've had a great time enjoying all the food and I still haven't tried everything! I Have gone back to some of my favourites already but this week I am going to try to finish up my documentation on every food item so look out for tomorrow because I am excited to tell you about the Ideal protein potato puree which is not a restricted food item!Hello breakfast lunch and snack!!! I will be making into a potato soup very excited and I will try a new snack WOW! I have slacking on the pictures the last two days I am a little distracted!

One important thing I wanted to share with you is how amazing my skin looks! Being an Esthetician I've studied the skin and have done skin analysis for 13 years and I must say the coloration of my skin looks incredible. The skin is the largest organ of the body and it shows signs of imbalances on the face. I can map out everything on your face. For example the forehead is intestines and digestion ( food and emotions). In Between the eyebrows and around the eye is the liver. I always have a little purplish blue undertone around the lower inner eye area. WELL NOT THIS MORNING! HAPPY LIVER!!!!!!! This is due because my body isn't spending all day digesting foods it can cleanse itself and doesn't have to deal with sugar highs and lows constantly and also doing the detox! This is also the reason people have more energy! YAY!

THe FOOD!

Breakfast was the crispy cereal! Always with a touch of cinnamon!

Lunch I had a mix salad green with a chocolate drink( it is the best hot chocolate ever!) It rich thick and creamy and if your a latte girl you can add a little coffee in replacement of water to make in a mochaccino! I haven't tried that yet but it would be fantastic! This drink warms my heart!

Super was porc loin with a mix salad green

Snack was the deliciously rich milk chocolate pudding!

Have a fantastic day!

day 30th! Down 2 more pounds

crispy cereal with cinnamon

south west cheese curls...Yeehaw!
So I was a little distracted yesterday by a very sick kitty so I don't have as many pictures as per usual. But I am down another 2 pds! That would make it 18 pds in a month and people are really starting to notice the weigh loss yay! You might ask yourself why only 2 pds this week and I think it's because of my cleanse was really hard on my body and I was not drinking enough water. So I've started upping my water intake yesterday! I also had some cheese out in my cesar salad and a little yogourt on my tandori cauliflower so I will be diligent this week!

Breakfast was my go to usual crispy cereal. I like it because your pour water and voila it's ready with a touch of cinnamon! I am keeping the omelettes for the week-ends!

FOr lunch I had the chicken soup with a plate of cut up veggies( cucumber, 1/2 tomato, and celery).

My super was a piece of pork loin sauteed with soya sauce and cooked broccoli and cauliflower topped with a little soya sauce.

Snack was the south west cheese curls. You get so a huge amount of the lovely airy cheese stick and they have a spicy quick that makes you say yeehaw cowboy that's a good chip!

Have a great day

Day 29......no bread no sweets not feeling bad about it :D

crispy cereal

salad wit garlic onion soy nuts!

veggie stir fry topped salad with small piece chicken and 1 egg

Blueberry pudding

Day 29 was great! I am still cleansing which I've been doing the detox treatment in the evening because it really works well. I've also been increasing my water! I am getting on the scale this morning so you'll find out how much I'm down. What is incredible is that the last time I was this weight I was also working out hard at the gym 6 days a week. I've hardly got off the couch for this weight loss compared to in the past! This treatment would work wonderful for someone who's gained weight due to an injury and can't work out! Then once the excess weight is gone the exercise would be great! Weight loss is such an emotional part for people and really helps with their confidence!

Breakfast I had the crispy cereal!I always add a little cinnamon! It's fast and delicious!

Lunch I made a large salad with the garlic onion soy nuts they were delicious flavour! If you miss nuts in your diet this is a great options snack for you.

Super I had chicken and sauteed mushroom and zucchini with a little soy sauce. Topped it on my salad and I boiled egg.
It kept me full for a while!

My snack was the blueberry pudding I froze it for 1 hour to see the consistency. Ice cream like thickness, It has a lot of little blueberry bits in it. Not to sweet!

Have a great day!
