Don't put me in the corner with a peanut butter ball

Yes it happened I fell into a sugar bowl but I had, I ate and I got over it and after a couple of treats I went back to my regular delicious food!

Breakfast I had a oat meal

Lunch with sausage and broccoli and cauliflower.

Supper I had a mushroom gravy with spinach and sauteed tofu

I didn't have any night time snack because of my afternoon fun!!

Have a great Saturday!!!
I will be officially back to blogging in between the holidays and returning to Ideal Protein phases after the new year!
Keep loving the veggies!!

Getting ready for christmas !

It's getting cold out there. It's time to think about heating up your Veggies and having some great holiday teas!

The 100 mysteries @ the be well spa is a popular one and if your out the celestial bengal tiger tea is my favourite x-mas tea roibois with cinnamon!

Breakfast I had 2 slices of whole grain toast with 1 tsp of peanut butter and 1 tsp of coconut oil. 1/2 cup of peaches as well

What is happening is I am slowly waking up the pancreas and insulin production.

Lunch I had a protein drink and large veggie salad

supper I had broccoli and cauliflower and sausages

I didn't have a snack too late and tired

I was able to see a couple of our Ideal protein people from last year they're still keeping it in check and grabbing some Ideal protein snacks for over the holidays! They are maintaining beautifully their weight loss. SO AWESOME!!!

Have a great day

DAy 1 of Phase 3 What should I eat for breakfast?

I forgot How this part of the program you are on your own for breakfast. I don't know what to eat!
I can have a carb, a fat, protein and fruit! It seems like a lot but it should be the biggest meal of the day. The Scale went up over the week-end due to my food choices but it's back down!!! Persevere through!
Burn that sugar!

Breakfast I had a serving of oatmeal and I added scoop of protein powder!

For Lunch I had celery sticks and cheese and a small handful of almonds ( the protein was not on protocol)

For Supper I had Ham & split pea soup. Again not on protocol. It was the best left over for my ham it was so good. But again lots of carbs there!

My snack I had the dark chocolate pudding!
I am going to review my old post just to see what I had for food last time!

Have a great day!

LEt's talk about food meditation for the Holidays!

IT's almost christmas it's time to make a plan for what you might be doing and eating. What do you really desire to eat this time of year! Have control and take things step by step. If you really must have that bite of grand-ma's sugar cookies have one but enjoy every moment of that food. Don't just hoover it and then you decide that wasn't enough and eat a tray.

-FOOD meditation is great to do during the holiday's. No you don't sit on a cushion and chant.
Start with looking at the food really see it the texture, colour, smell the aroma. You are present with the food. Take a bite and feel the texture really taste the food. Is it as delicious as it appears? You will be more satisfied and full using this technique. You can use this technique anytime!

-There are statistics that suggest that you get a high of off food for the first 3 bites and then you flatline. So nothing will taste as good as the first 3 bites. If you are like me your always chasing the sugar dragon :D
So try one cookie/snack at a time and enjoy it. Have a moment with it.
If your at a party and there's a lot going on loud music, lots of conversation pay attention to your food consumption because you might be eating more because your not paying attention to the food or if you feel uncomfortable during a social situation......(anyone visiting their inlaws)

-Bring healthy snacks to share with the group veggie trays always help me. Eat before you go so you don't overindulge it's a good thing turkey is the main event so load up on the good stuff and bring a salad to share :D

-Most important whatever you do be kind to yourself if you have something not on protocol don't trow in the towel and binge on food. Pat yourself on the back and keep your head up. Enjoy the food and do not demonize your decisions. You always have a choice in the mater and you are in control this holiday!
Do some family activities outdoors together!

BREAKFAST

I had my last Ideal protein breakfast today
Vanilla drink!

lunch I had ground pork and cooked mushroom and spinach and some celery sticks as well!

SUpper I had ham and eggs and steamed broccoli.

My snack I had the lemon poppy seed bar ( I can't believe these bars are protocol hello delicious)
