Thank you sunshine and a lower number on the scale

                                          Day 4

The Scale has gone down I am enjoying the food and no real cravings it is amazing! I opened the fridge and there's a 70 dark chocolate and I looked at it and moved on I was like huh chocolate. Normally my reaction would be : get me a knife and a chisel a piece right now I don't care it's 8:30 in the morning that would be awesome with my coffee. That would have been just last week. So that is great!

So I forgot my vitamins last night which is a big nono and probably why I didn't sleep all that great but the sun is out and that makes all the difference to me. Water is very easy to drink on this program as well one sip turns into 500ml of water!

For breakfast I had the chocolate drink heated delicious!!!

Lunch I had the chocolate pudding and veggies ( celery and bell peppers)

For super I had vanilla pudding and some zucchini and cucumber.

for a snack I had my protein a hunk of pork it was really great!

Looking forward to seeing what tomorrow will bring!

Have a great day!

DAY 3 It's the day to be tested mind and body!

Day 3 was an interesting day

It felt like my mid-section was being wrung out like a yet towel that you are trying squeeze out the water. It did feel uncomfortable just noticing what was going on and it didn't feel like I was hungry. I think to myself you've just squeezed out the last of the sugar energy time for fat burning :D

One thing I always notice about being on the program I am only hungry at very specific times of the day
*8am-12pm-5pm. It's like clockwork give me food now.I am not craving sugars which I was totally binging on last week so that feels awesome!

I am an emotional eater and yes I stuff my feeling down with a handful of cashews and some chocolate( my favourite combination of fat and sugar). Since I can't stuff the feelings down and I am not hungry I have to face the things that have been bothering me.

Also I found a live bug in my organic salad that I've rinsed and prep for a day and I found my cat Simon eating part of my protein super. So I that point I cried yup it sucked.
I will be treating myself to mani/pedi and a bath and writing everything out in a journal to get a different perspective have it out of my mind.
Blah

Food for day 3

Breakfast I had the crispy cereal with cinnamon. I had a coffee with black with cinnamon as well. Yummy!

Lunch I had the mushroom soup and a salad ( watch out live creature)!

Super Ground beef with mustard and soya sauce topped with broccoli and cauliflower.

Snack the IDEAL PROTEIN LEMON SOY PUFFS. Honestly this is what got me back on the program last week we got a shipment in and I was having these everyday. They are neon yellow similar texture to the peanut or chocolate soy puffs but they have the lemon flavour of the lemon bar. They take a long time to eat. I got these at work and had a couple(10) on the ride home because it was past 5pm and I had the rest after super. They totally kept me sane until Simon stole my meat.

Quick Start Day 1

I few changes here unfortunately this blog can not longer post pictures :(
This is a new policy that changed in April 2012.
I will look into more it looks like I would have to upgrade which would cost $ so I will describe to you in great detail how my first day went!!

The wonderful thing about the Ideal protein plan is that you do not feel hungry so craving of sugar or starches are at a minimum! Plus I had pudding to look forward to for my night time snack!
My plan for this quick start is to only have the Ideal protein superfoods. Which have less carbs in them for example the crispy cereal ( I will be having this all week), soups, drinks and puddings.
Having these will give you more maximum weight loss.

Now I was just looking at the soy milk I was putting in my coffee this morning and it has a crazy amount of sugar so I will not be using anymore of that brand. Try low sugar almond milk of no milk at all.

The foods I ate for day ONE!

As you know the crispy cereal and add cinnamon always to my breakfast! This spice helps lower your blood sugar and taste great! I also enjoy the celestial tea bengal tiger which is a cinnamon roibois delicious!

Lunch I was at my parents and they totally support the low GI diet so it was easy to have lunch with them they are very supportive and understanding of the Ideal protein diet! YAY!
I had the Cheese and broccoli soup it was rich, creamy and warmed me up on these November days!
With a large romaine salad with 2 pickles and yellow pepper. Dressing was the real sae salt and a little olive oil!

Super I made 2 Hamburger patties and steamed cauliflower. I seasoned the burgers and added dijon mustard.  the cauliflower I drizzled olive oil and real sea salt and crushed a clove of garlic and mashed on my plate! It was delicious !

My snack was butterscotch pudding a little peace of heaven. How can a girl be cranky when I can have 1 sweet a day. That's all I ask for :D

Day one was great but I am anticipating day 3-4 which is the ketosis part of the plan.

I'm back!

It's a month before christmas the coldest darkest time of the year. People get together drink, eat and be merry. It is a wonderful time but guess what my skinny jeans (newly purchased since my 35 lbs weight loss) are feeling a little too snug for me. So before I retire these 2 pairs of pants I think it's a great time to do a Quick start! I will be doing a solid week of Phase one which is low GI veggies and ideal protein for one week solid and see what the results will be and then most likely go into phase two. So I will nip christmas in the bud as they say!:D

The goal is to give the pancreas and liver a break from producing insulin to regulate my blood sugar. This also means that my body will be going into Ketosis (fat burning as my main fuel). I will check in with you everyday to tell you what is going on and how the process is going.

The different phases are VERY IMPORTANT on the Ideal Protein program. It gently introduces sugars to the body in a slow way so that your body can readjust to producing insulin in a way as to not use the fuel as storage in the body (ADIPOSE TISSUE aka FAT).

So today I had 2 ancient grain slices of bread with banana and cashews and I will be going out with some girlfriends for diner ( I will have dessert and a cocktail). Tomorrow crispy cereal awaits!

Looking forward to checking with you :D
