DAY 5 Mexican dark chocolate pudding

Yes I wore my skinny jeans yesterday!! YAHOO!

So that is very rewarding but the simple fact that I can stay away from the starchy /chocolate food is a reward :

"yes I would like a rum and eggnog"....
"sure that specialty chocolate with coconut and cashews looks good"(my weakness)

but you know what they will taste better when my skinny jeans have a little more room in them at christmas all these tasty treat can wait!

Make a list and plan ahead. If you can go to a veggie specialty store and avoid the inner isle it's much easier to make your food choices. We are so bombarded with novelty food that have no nutritional value...for the holidays.

Food for today

Crispy cereal with a touch of cinnamon. I like this because it is a food that you can have as much as you want (ideal protein) super foods they have less carbs like the soups pudding and drinks. It is also very quick to make add water and eat immediately.

Leek soup with cut veggies: bell pepper, cucumber and zucchini. CHopped and sprinkled with a little sea salt. I keep them at room temperature so I am not freezing all day. Cold veggies keep me cold especially when it's -10 outside.

For supper I made a chopped mushroom gravy with soya sauce and  ground beef and I topped it on steamed broccoli very nice and delicious.

For my snack I made mexican dark chocolate pudding!
mixe dark chocolate pudding as directed and I added 1/4 tsp of cinnamon and 1/8 tsp of crushed dried chili. It was the perfect desert for a cold night!

Have a great day
Nadine
