DAY 80.......I wanted a cookie....I'll wait three weeks for it it will be worth it!

YUP Breakfast!

spinach and leek soup

romaine salad with ginger vinaigrette

pork chop and mushrooms

Chocolate chocolate Shake
What do you crave when you are stressed? I really wanted a chocolate chip cookie. I've been 'using' chocolate chip cookies for stress since the Good Food Emporium moved to my neighbourhood. They are fantastic I was having one of those days yesterday instead of walking in that direction I went for a long walk and picked up some sugar-less almond milk.
I new having the cookie would make me feel better for the moment and then I would feel really badly afterwards.

Breakfast I started with the 4 bar dessert because yup I was having one of those days!

lunch I had steamed spinach mixed onto the Ideal protein leek soup. It was delicious

Super was a pork chop with mushrooms and a large romaine salad with yellow peppers, mushrooms and zucchini.
with a olive oil vinaigrette with ginger and garlic (stephanie's recipe's)

Snack Chocolate drink made as a shake. With 4 ice cubes, and Walden farms chocolate syrup. THis is such a fantastic shake super creamy and yummy!!!

Have a great day

DAY 79 Ideal protein is keeping me on track with my busy schedule!

Crispy Cereal

potato soup

Veggies and thai ground pork

peanut soy puffs

I have been so busy with things going on that it is amazing how food can sometimes be the last thing on your mind when you don't have time. I think of mothers, people who work on the road. With the ideal protein I find that the structure is made perfectly for people who are on the go. All they need to do once a week is perhaps prep some veggies for their lunches and super. I've been bringing a bag of frozen veggies with me to my work because I just don't have the time to even put it in a container. It all works out and I get my veggies too!

Breakfast: Crispy cereal

lunch: potato soup

super: cooked broccoli and cauliflower topped with thai ground pork. I used the Walden Farm Thai vinaigrette!
for my snack soy puffs when you are stressed it's great to crunch on things chewing is a de-stresser!

Have a great day

Day 77

berry yogurt drink

large salad!

strawberry chocolate syrup shake

I spend the last two days in a course about well-being!
It was wonderful to know that I feel like I am on the right path! We learned wonderful healing techniques: breathing, movement and nutrition are what heal the body! So simple!

For breakfast surprise : I had the yogurt berry drink. It was light fruity and very creamy. I did find that I was pretty hungry earlier than usual. I would probably have this as a night snack.

Lunch: I had a miso soup and sashimi salmon. Sashimi is raw salmon without the rice. This to me tastes like a rich creamy soft delicate food. I prefer raw salmon to cooked.

Super I had a large salad with 3 boiled eggs.

For my snack I had a strawberry pudding shake with a touch of chocolate syrup.

Have a great day!

I didn't have any protein though so I was pretty hungry when I woke up this morning. I forgot they had eggs there too! Maybe tomorrow :)

Super I had a large romaine salad with the pre-made cosco chicken. The two cold salads made me pretty cold last night I will admit! So cooked veggie tomorrow night! I also have another confession.........I am getting tired of eating meat. I will be switching to my vegetarian diet after this program. Meat does not excite me like a plate of lentils!

The Chakras are energy centres of the body that connect our physical to our spiritual self. Our emotions are felt through are chakras!  The Class feeding the chakras is not only about nutrition and how you can help heal your body with technique of self discovery about yourself . Our society promotes importance of being in the mind we rarely have the time to connect with our physical body.  This is why dis-ease happens. Wow I went on a tangent there. Food time

Lobster jalepenio!

crispy cereal

soy puff

Saturday was another beautiful day! This week has been very busy this. So food has been on the back burner for me but luckily the ideal protein food has been there to keep me going. A note for you about having a lot of the walden farm foods in one day. Sucralose can make you go to the bathroom so be aware of how many servings you are having through the day along with your ideal protein food. For example I had a coffee and a chocolate chai tea that I put 1 tbsp of chocolate syrup in and then I had the pre made mango puree fruit drink. I think normally don't have the mango drink all the time and I think the combination gave me a little trouble with the bathroom in the afternoon. I had a celebration sushi date with my husband we got take out from Wasabi House it was fantastic!! You can have the soup and salad and sashimi! WE had not done anything for Valentine's day so we though that during the process of buying our first home we would have a little celebration dinner!

Breakfast crispy cereal

lunch pre made mango puree fruit drink with a mustard dressing on spinach salad.

super sushi dinner

snack peanut soy puff!

Yahoo ! I am down 3.3 lbs which makes it 30 lbs weight loss. due to my vacation I last got weighed in february 29th!
When you start adding carbs again you will increase in weight for your body to break down the sugar. This does not mean that you will increase in size. So my body has fluctuated for the last little while since I was surrounded by dessert and was having second dessert!

Breakfast was the chocolate drink!

Lunch I had strawberry pudding with stirfry and celery with our new walden farm peanut spread.

Supper was a romaine salad and 3 meatballs with broccolini with salt and olive oil.

snack time was a 4 bars mixed dessert!

crispy cereal

vanilla pudding my favourite!

bar buffet!

It's spring!!!!!!! I can feel it in the air I've shed off those pounds and my winter clothing. I feel free! With sunshine in the morning and little birds signing always put me in a good mood! I started this morning by going for a walk in my neighbourhood at 7:20 ish. I didn't go far I was just enjoying the quiet of the city and the sunshine! So that was something new for me I highly suggest to you to do the same change things up and do something different that you might not do. Get your yard ready for the beautiful summer. Take a dance class that you've always wanted to take. Start walking or running. Go outside enjoy yourself!

breakfast was the crispy cereal with a touch of cinnamon. I know it sounds boring that I always have this but it's my comfort thing , it's quick and easy no flipping of eggs and I really enjoy having cereal in the morning and I really enjoy a chocolate snack at night even more!

For lunch I had a savoy cabbage stir fry with mushrooms and a vanilla pudding

Supper I enjoyed pork loin sauteed with left over mash squash and a little of my lunch stir fry.

My snack was  4 pieces of delicious bars (imagine barry white voice): milk chocolate ( mmm walnuts on top), peanut crunch (hello it's been a while), cookie and cream(yum), and peanut butter chocolate( Oh my). That was the best snack :D

broccoli and cheese soup with veggies

spinach salad with mustard dressing and eggs!

a side of mashed turnip

make your own mix chocolate peanut butter soy puff!

I am an emotional eater so when times get tough I want food. My hormones get out of whack and my metabolism crashes.
I have done  a lot of work to know this about myself and with the help of professionals to understand what happens to my body during times of stress. I am a very sensitive person and I like to control situations. This morning when I went outside I hear birds chirping and the cool morning air with the sunshine I ask myself why aren't I out here every morning to connect with nature and hear the quiet of the city? Fresh air can really do some good for the brain and the heart!

Breakfast I had the leftover strawberry chocolate twist. (strawberry pudding mix with chocolate drink mix water and ice cubes). THis make 2 portions so I split it!

Lunch was the new and delicious flavour of the broccoli and cheese soup. With cooked veggies broccoli and cauliflower.

day 69 Can't wait for the walden farm calorie free peanut butter!!!

steamed spinach and a strawberry chocolate shake

mini burger and salad

the best chocolate and peanut butter soy puffs

Sunday was a good day! Crafting with friends and spending time with my Man! I've been working on a workshop that my friend and I are doing at the end of the month. It is called feeding the Chakras. I am so excited to be sharing this information about our bodies and how we carry energy, thoughts and feelings. How this all can correlate with how we chose foods to nourish ourselves and what we are really craving in our life!

Breakfast I enjoyed the crispy cereal with a touch of cinnamon

lunch I had steamed spinach with garlic and smoked sea salt and a chocolate and strawberry shake.
I mixed the strawberry pudding and chocolate drink with an extra 50 ml of water and 8 ice cubes. Mixed the texture is great rich and very creamy. You may wonder why my drink is in a pyrex ? I have a hard time splitting in half my shakes so I though I would measure it out.

Supper I ate a large salad and 3 mini beef patties that I made myself. With mustard and pickles! The best!

For my snack I again mixed it up with the peanut and chocolate soy puffs. I separate the packages in 2 containers
