Back on track yay! I was feeling a little hungrier than usual but it could also be that I am tired and stressed. So I've been de-stressing and the time change really has been kicking my butt! Having a good night sleep can be a great remedy!
Breakfast I ate the crispy cereal with a touch of cinnamon!
Lunch I had a mixed greens salad with a oil dressing and mushroom soup.
Supper I had a pork loin and kale chips with a side of turnip fries! Delicious!
For my snack I had the peanut soy puffs...I've been trying to eat all super foods but I saw these guys and I was going for it!
Tomorrow I am going to have all super Ideal protein foods. I am going to start the morning and my night snack with a shake already prepared and waiting for me.
Kale chips
heat oven at 350 degrees to 450 degrees ( every oven is different so don't leave your kitchen if you've never made these before)
clean and remove leaves off the stem chop to bite size peaces. Place a layer on a pan I put foil or parchment paper works well. Add spices that you like : salt-pepper, red chillies, poppy seeds, sesame seeds , soya sauce, cal free dressing, olive oil, sesame oil or spray. Whatever you feel like experiment.
Heat in oven for about 10 to 15 mins
You want your chips to change colour from bright green to a darker green and they should be nice and crispy.
These chips are easy to burn so be watchful on these guys during the cooking process.
These kale chips are crunchy and savoury the perfect snack and even kids would love these!
Have a great Day!
Nadine
