What I ate on day 6
Breakfast was the orange crepe and a black coffee. The crepe was filling but I was not patient with the cooking of it. I should have walked away from the pan instead of watching over it trying to flip it I did a Julia Child's moment the crepe broke in half and so my breakfast made me feel full but it was not pretty. I will give you some tip at the end of this blog.
Lunch was Spaghetti Bolognese mix . I heated it up in the microwave because I didn't trust myself on the stove top. This meal was so delicious! I was very filing the sauce was great and the texture of the sauce was great it has a meaty texture like TVP ( textured vegetable protein). I am not sure what form of protein is in it but I will get back to you with that info.
I was so excited for my spaghetti that I forgot my salad opps! So I ate my salad a hour later :)
Super was roast beef with cabbage and green beens it was really good! I will have left overs Roast beef for a few supers
My snack was something sweet : the caramel nut bar it was covered in chocolate and let's just say it's on my favourite lists! It would be like a mars bar with peanuts can't beat that! with 19 gr. of protein!
So my tip for cooking Ideal protein breakfasts
Cook medium heat
walk away from the pan the food does not need to be watched
5 min on one side and 2 on the other to avoid breaking
Always use a non-stick pan when heating the omelettes and crepes
Make sure your pan is still non-stick the coating does not last for ever 2-3 years will medium usage 1-2 a week
Do not over heat your pan always on med or med-low every oven is different
I am feeling great! I must say day 4 was the worst for me which is exciting because this is when my body was finished using up all the sugar in my body and going into ketosis. I feel full of energy and I am able to do the physical activities that I've always done :)
you go and I'll be right behind you!
